Since the Covid-19 Outbreak, Buda-U has exported a large number of FFP2 to EU countries. Europe has always been one of the important markets of Buda-U. Recently, the Product Portfolio of Buda-U brand has added new model of FFP3: the model of Buda-U FFP3 has obtained the certification of Notified Body CE 0370 Applus Spain. This Mask Respirator has successfully passed a series of rigid tests and audits by CE Notified Body.
The BU-E980 model of FFP3 currently launched belong to the protective mask (filtering half mask) under the EU standard, and the applicable standard number is EN149:2001 + A1:2009 with PPE-Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The mask body is specially designed to fit the size of European face, which is folding type with ear straps but no valve.
As we all know, the EU standard for PPE protective masks is a little higher and stricter. The minimum filtration effect of FFP1 mask is ≥ 80%, that of FFP2 is ≥ 94%, and that of FFP3 is ≥ 99%. The masks are able to effectively filter harmful substances such as oily particles and non oily particles. These harmful substances include harmful aerosols, dust, smoke, fog droplets, toxic gas and toxic vapor, which are absorbed by the filtering material to prevent them from being inhaled by human respiration.
Buda-U FFP3: Good Performance in its Inward Leakage Test and Low Breathing Resistance.
It is worth mentioning that FFP3 actually is the highest level of EU protective mask. Its protective effect is impressive and its application range is also very wide. In the EU PPE standard, the test standards for other items are extremely harsh, especially the leakage rate. As we all know, the leakage rate of mask is closely related to the protective performance of a mask.
FFP3 requires that the inward leakage rate should not exceed 2% . For the test of leakage rate, the EU standard requires 10 real people to be tested, wearing masks for 5 different actions. This is a great challenge to the shape design of mask.
The leakage test of Buda-U FFP3 is excellent, which is attributed to the mask design to avoid inward leakage. In addition, the FFP3 does not have a valve on it, and therefore the FFP3 has high requirements for respiratory resistance, while the Buda-U mask has always attached importance to the wearer's experience and comfort. In addition to using skin friendly surface materials, this model also adopts a new type of meltblown fabric to ensure filtration efficiency and low respiratory resistance, making the wearer's experience more comfortable.
